How Do I Stop Facebook From Changing My Facebook Profile To The New Timeline

I dont want my Facebook profile changed to Timeline and I hate it and I want to make sure that Facebook doesnt automatically change it. If they do I will think about closing my Facebook account

Alas, for those of us who like the quieter format of the old Facebook pages, they will soon be a thing of the past. Unless there is a change of heart or head at Facebook, everyone who has a Facebook page will find a New Timeline page one day.

In order to have some control, work on it now. This might be the time to take a week to organize it if you do want to have some control over the appearance. That way you won't feel so startled when it just happens.

Once you get timeline, you'll have 7 days before anyone else can see it. This gives you a chance to get your timeline looking the way you want before other people see it.
To help you get started, your timeline includes some of your top photos and stories. Hide or highlight whatever you want and add anything that's missing. Only the people you originally shared a post with can see it on your timeline.
If you want, you can go back and change who sees a post, delete it or just hide it from your timeline
But sooner rather than later, we're all going to be one the new Timeline or off Facebook.

I know how you feel because it is difficult enough to find things when little changes are made. The new pages are so in-your-face that they lose something for some of us who just wanted to see what was going on with friends and family.
