How Do I Get Smiley Emoticons On Comments In My Facebook Profile Page(news Feed

when wanting to comment on someone elses news I click in 'write a comment' box and the diaglogue box comes up (a friend of mine has an emoticon she can use for her comments right next to the comment button) how do I get it? Apparently from smiley central. But how?
