Resetting Password

Somehow I lost my password, than I remembered it so when I tryto sign in with it it will not let me and it says go to reset password (dont see that at all) than I put in a new password and irt asks for a code, what code? All I want is to get my old password back, How do I do it? It is so confusing< Thanks Laura

Sorry you're having problems. It seems that as a result of actions you took Facebook has canceled your old password, in which case you must reset it.

You can request a password reset by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link located near the "Login" button on the login page. Facebook will then send you an email with a link to reset your password. (This information is from this Facebook page, which may provide additional guidance.)

You also may be able to get into your account by answering a security question or getting help from friends. Details are here.
