Notification Settings For Candy Crush Saga

I use Facebook on my iPhone5 & am loggined into many games with it. I get notifications of who has sent me a message in Candy Crush Saga & am directed to the app when clicked on. When I go back to FB, I no longer see any previous notifications in the drop down list. Is there some setting I have enabled that deletes the apps notifications after I've viewed them? All other previous notifications are viewable, just not the Candy Crush ones. Dont want to keep bugging the same friends over & over again for lives, and can't always remember whose given me them. Thank you
