There are ways this can be done but it takes a skilled hacker.  Either way they cannot take your pictures from facebook unless you make them available.  They might hack your password and change your settings, copy or delete things but if your password is secure you should be OK.  Change it to be safe.

I would wager that this is simply someone messing with you.  Be wary of anything in facebook that asks you to click on a link.  Those can be links to infected web sites that can steal information and do other nasty things.

If you're curious to see what your IP address is you can go to this web iste.  It reads your address and displays it to you.  In most cases your ISP is assigning an address to you dynamically.  It will probably change every 15 minutes (thats what AT&T does).  http://www.whatsmyip.org/

People cannot find your IP through facebook.  If they know where to look they can get your IP from an email address but even then, it only provides an APPROXIMATE indication of your location.
