Hi, Someone Else Is Using My Email & I Am Receiving All Their Notifications

what can be done about this? I have tried to add my email address to my account but it won't allow me to as it is linked to this other unknown person's account. I receive all their notifications of ppl tagging this person, comments, birthday reminders etc etc clogging up my email.
