Help! I Have Been Blocked From Messaging And I Was Doing Nothing Rong.

I need help!!! Last night, a friend of mine "suggested" 12 friends to me. I then proceeded to send out the requests with a message telling them who requested me ect... I sent out 9 of these requests with messages, and was told that I was engaging in annoying behavior and was blocked from messaging, the block still has not been lifted? I was not doing anything wrong, I was just responding to actual friend suggestions!!! Can someone please tell me why I am being blocked for doing something that is an actual function of facebook? You have the friend suggestion for a reason.... I was just using that, that is all...
