Changing Facebook Email Address To A New One Without Access To The Email Account

How can I change my primary/only facebook associated email address to another email address without access to the old email account? Not only can I not access it due to it being hacked (or shutdown at this point?) but, I also cannot have a compromised account notifying the potential compromiser of my new email address. I cannot find a way to do this! Surely there must be something other than one email address to change my settings and verify myself as the legitimate account holder?

This happens alot unfortunatly. I found this article on accounts being hacked. I hope it helps. Helpowl.com is a place to ask general questions and have other users (like myself) answer the questions for you. This is not facebook, nor is it related to facebook. Good Luck. :)

When you try to log in to your Facebook account you get a message saying Incorrect Email/Password Combination. I assume you have tried to recover your password using reset password feature. If not, click here to give it a try. If this won’t work there are good chances that your account has been hacked.

Follow these steps to recover your hacked Facebook account:

Visit http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hack_nologin_access

Contact email address: enter your email address, if possible the same email you have registered account with
Full name on the account: enter your full name on the account so they will be able to verifyapplication
Network(s) the account belongs to: try provide as many possible networks, including school, work network,…
Email addresses that may be affiliated with the account: enter the same email you have created Facebook account with
Your contact email address: use same email as you entered for step #2
URL (web address link) of the profile page: simply copy/paste URL of your profile
Description and steps to reproduce the issue: describe how your account got hacked/stolen, try to provide as many additional information as possible
Submit “My Account Has Been Compromised” form
