How Do I Get An Account Deleted?

I created a password and user name which I forgot, so I then created a new account with new email, username and pw. This newer account works fine, so I want my original account deleted/deactivated so folks don't respond to that account. How do I accomplish this?

You can request a password reset by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link located near the "Login" button on the login page. Facebook will then send you an email with a link to reset your password.

You must be able to use an email address registered with Facebook. Otherwise, if you can't recall your password, you're out of luck. Sorry.

For deletion, press the Submit button on the deletion page.
