I'm sorry to have to tell you that you have not reached Facebook but an independent website that advises folks who have problems with any of many companies, including Facebook.

The good news is that it's a simple matter to deactivate or delete your account, as you please.The two actions have the same effect, but after deactivation your account can be restored.

For deactivation, look for that link at the bottom of your account page.

For deletion, press the Submit button on the deletion page.
