Is It Anonymous To Report Someone Deceased On Facebook?

Im just wondering..... i have reported someone. I do not want my name on it, i dont want people knowing that i am the one who reported it etc. I dont want to steal the parents thunder but i thought it had to be done. and i dont want it to send emails to people asking to confirm that he is dead or say 'death reported by...." its for a friend from a froeign country but i used an english obituary, so i hope it works. i also do not want (in the case that it fails or they cannot gaurantee that its the same person due to language barrier) for it to say anything like so and so has reported blah blah blah deceased" in someones feed? i really just want this to be anonymous......i know reporting abuse is anonymous but i am not sure about this and now i feel uncomfortable. please tell me if reporting a deceased person is anonymous, failure or correct.
