Coverage Through Pharmacy Or Physician?
An Express Scripts representative (via telephone) told my husband he would be "covered" for a Shingles shot, so when he went to the doctor, he got one. However, when he sent in the bill, Express Scripts told him he should have gotten the shot at a pharmacy (after the fact). Now he is faced with a $332 bill to the doctor. Why wasn't he informed that he should've gotten the shot at a pharmacy & NOT the doctor's office? We're retired, on a fixed income, & have Humana Medicare. Now, what should he do?????
