Epson Nx130 Ink Levels/communication Error - New Ink.

Hi there, I just purchased a new Epson NX130 Printer and Scanner. This is my second one with the same problem. I returned the previous one. It is saying ink levels are non existant, and it is completely new. When I have checked maintenace tab to troubleshoot it is saying communication error. The scanner works fine. The printer can print a test page ok. Could this be the USB cable causing the problem? The supplier said the cable should not be the problem - maybe just a bad batch of printers as this is the second one in a week! I have tried different usb ports. The cable I used is a Comsol 2M USB 2.0 Cable AM-BM (whatever that means). I threw the packet away, so unsure if that is correct. Please help. I hope I can correct or I will have to return another one!!

Unfortunately I also bought one of these one of these. I returned it to

the store two hours later because it could not recognize its own (Epson)

ink tanks.

The replacement one was also returned because it had an issue with the

paper feed. I will never buy another Epson product again.
