Epson Scanner And Windows 8 Computer

I have a epson perfection 1260 scanner. Which I had on a windows xp computer. I now have a windows 8 computer, and the disc's I had with the scanner, do not work. Can any one help, please. Linda.

Your new pc is not compatible due to Epson not offering 64 bit software. It is no longer supported.

what you should do is go to the Epson website go to the "drivers/support" tab, punch in your make and model number of your scanner it should show if there is new driver for your scanner that would let you use it on windows 8.
