Epson Gt-1500 'unable To Write To File'
I AM USING EPSON GT-1500 FLATBED SCANNER IN WINDOWS 2003 SERVER EDITION. AT THE TIME OF CLICKING EPSON SCAN ICON IN DESKTOP SHOWN AN ERROR MESSAGE UNABLE TO WRITE TO FILE. PLEASE SEND THE SOLUTION AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

Essentially it is trying to access a file that doesn't exist, and this causes the whole program to bug out.
Solution:
Start - Run, Type 'Regedit' in the box.
Navigate to HKCurrentUser/Software/EPSON/EPSON Scan/ in the Registry Editor.
Check the registry values of everything under Epson Scan. Some of these values will be paths (C:\Documents and Settings\etc). Verify the paths exist. If they don't, double click on the value and change the path to something that does exist. Double click the Epson Scan icon.The program should open now.
Notes: I discovered the bug by using the Process Monitor.
