Energizer Batt 371 Ups Code 03980010962

I purchased an Energizer Electric Batt 371 UPS Code 03980010962 on June 22, 2017 for my Raymond Weil watch that has worked perfectly for the past 7 years. I installed the battery and all was good for around 3 weeks. I noticed initially that it had lost about 4 minutes. I reset it and a week later on Saturday morning it was over (4) hours behind. I initially reached out via e-mail to someone I believe in India. After (4) back and forth e-mails over the course of about 9 days, I received a reply from Suyash Shrivastava, Case ID# 170719-000042 stating that the energizer 371/370 battery is available only for industrial use only and its's not available for retail sale. So I request you kindly contact to the store from you purchased it.(Her crappy grammar, spelling and terrible use of the English language)This answer SUCKS! I purchased an Energizer battery and your company should stand behind it. If you do not replace this battery I will do my very best to let everyone I know what a crappy deal Energizer has done to me. Very frustrating when you purchase a defective item from a company and they don't stand behind it. Sick and tired of just purchasing another. In addition I find it ridiculous that manufacturers provide/sell batteries with an expiration date 6-8 years in advance and my experieince is these "AA", "AAA", C and D cell batteries typically don't last very long.
