Main Burner Flame

my range has been replaced and serviced many times a/c unusually high and powerful flame. this is still a problem! Was told to ignite burner and then place pan over flame. Still scary and dangerous. propane range, model#EW3LGF65GSC. THANK YOU FRAN CLARK
