Cake On A Plane?

im flying from barcelona to paris for my daughters 4th birthday! rather than trying to find a birthday cake in paris can i take one from barcelona with me?

"Wedding cakes (or other cakes) are allowed as cabin baggage only and they need to meet cabin baggage size requirements. They must be stored in the overhead locker or under the seat in front of you, not carried on your lap. Cabin crew are unable to store cakes."
