Have you set up some security questions for this particular gmail account? usually they ask you to input some security questions or add your mobile number incase of incidents like this. You can always go to "Forgotten Password" and see if they will let you create a new one. If that don't work then you may have to contact gmail themselves or create a new gmail account completely. But if you so then I reccomend you either store your password on your mobile or write it down.
