Oddly enough the Dynex web site does not even list this product and no user manual is available anywhere.

http://www.dynexproducts.com/products/video.html?subcategoryId=video-switchers-splitters&active=false#pageNumber=1&subcategoryId=all&resultsPerPage=all

There are enough listings of and for it around the Internet that I find that fact very surprising.

In any case, after reading the reviews and looking at what imagery is out there it would appear that hookup should be a simple matter.

One of the advertised features is that it uses standard RCA video cables.  For example: http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-Audio-Video-RCA-Cable/dp/B000V0DY7U/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b

These cable use three colors, red, white, and yellow.  Yellow is always the video.  Read is typically the right audio.  White is typically the left audio.  Note that these cables are identical and can be interchanged as long as both ends connect to the same thing.

Your TV must support RCA inputs to be able to use the switch.  Your peripherals also must have RCA outputs.

The connections "should" be separated so the at the common "output" to the TV is obvious.  All other connections will be inputs associated with the switch buttons.

To connect simply run one RCA cable bundle (red, white, and yellow) from the TV to the common connection on the switch.  Do the same for each DVD, VCR, etc you wish to hook up.

Once connected press the button associated with the port you connected a device to and set the TV to use the appropriate auxiliary input.

You should be good to go.
