Why Is My Mommas Power Bill So High

my mother has been away from home since dec.16 2010, heat is set on 65  and an ouside light is on the refrigator is still running  other than that its vacant so how did she use so much pwer and not be home??

If there are still items plugged in it is still using power try unplugging unused items
