Engine Running Rough
The check engine light and the lightening bolt in brackets light come on at the same time and the engine runs extremely rough. This may last for a little while and the engine will smooth out and the lights will go out. Later on the same process will go again. What is the problem in your opinion.

The lightning bolt is a warning light for the electronic throttle control (ETC). There is something wrong with the ETC, so you will probably have to take it to a dealer to be checked out. If you ignore it, the problem will get worse and eventually your vehicle will stall and not restart.
