How To Remove The Thermostart?

Follow the upper radiater hose back towards the engine and it will end in the thermostat housing (dodge calls it a coolant outlet housing but w/ever, its where the thermostat is). Make sure you have another gasket before you disassemble it. They are supposedly reusable but in my opinion a gasket shouldnt ever be reused unless its an emergency because the leak they second time around more often than not. Unbolt the housing and the thermostat is just sitting inside. Check it by putting it in a pot of boiling water. If its good, you should see the center open up as the metal heats to the waters tempature.
