What Type Of Info Do You Need For A Toddler To Fly

It depends on whether you're traveling international or domestic.  

For domestic, if the child is under the age of 2, you don't have to purchase a seat and can carry the infant on your lap.  You should bring a birth certificate copy with you in case they ask you for proof of age.  If the child is over the age of 2, they will need a seat like every other passenger.  Again, it's a good idea to have the child's birth certificate for the airline and for the Security personnel.  

International is a bit different.  A passport is required for the child/toddler and there may be a discount off the adult fare if the child is going to sit on your lap, but if the child is over 2 years old, they will have to purchase a full fare ticket like anyone else.
