Does Dell Latitude have TPM?
TPM option is missing in the system BIOS setup Latitude, Precision, or XPS. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) option may be missing in the system BIOS setup or Windows Operating System on your Dell Latitude, Dell Precision, or XPS system. Follow the steps outlined in this article to resolve this issue.
How do I install TPM 2.0 on Dell?
Copy the downloaded file to a bootable DOS USB drive.
Power on the system, then Press F12 key and Select USB Storage Device and Boot to DOS prompt.
Run the file by typing copied file name where the executable file is located.
DOS system auto restarts and updates the TPM during the system startup.
Can you upgrade TPM?
The best way to update the TPM firmware is by using TPM Configuration Utility. You can retrieve the latest version through the HP Image Assistant (HPIA). Once installed, select the model you want to update TPM from 1.2 to 2.0 and download TPM Configuration Utility through the tool. IMPORTANT!
How do I know if my computer has a TPM chip?
How to find out if your PC has TPM 2.0 for Windows 11
Click Windows + R. (Image credit: Microsoft)
Type in 'tpm.msc' and click OK or hit Enter. (Image credit: Microsoft)
Look for confirmation or a "Compatible TPM cannot be found" error.
If you get the latter, you may still have a TPM chip, but it may need to be enabled.
