Does My Inspiron M5030 Have Wireless Wifi

Yes, the Inspiron M5030 does have a Wireless Card Installed. Below is information on the Wireless card in your system,.

WLAN Mini-Card

The Inspiron M5030 system is offered with half-height mini-cards. Only WLAN Mini-Cards work in this slot; other cards types do not.

Three wires can be connected to the card, all of which may not be used. The black and white wires are used on most WLAN cards, while the gray wire is only be used on certain N or draft-n cards.

The following WLAN cards are offered on this system:

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting wireless cards and wireless connections can be tricky. For this reason, be sure to refer to the training documentation for each of the specific wireless cards and check DSN for more troubleshooting steps.

NOTE:
On the Inspiron M5030, use the F2 key to turn wireless On or Off. Use Windows Mobility Center in the control panel to check the status of the wireless connection.
