Battery Recharge Time N5520 15r Core I7

Well i purchased a new inspiron N5520 and from the day one...the battery charges very slow unlike the other brands.i dont know if its a problem or just normal.It takes about 4 hours to completely charge the battery.On the other hand core i5 or HP charges with in 2 hours and the battery back up time is same.The charger is same regarding the input and out..i m not feeling comfortable with this lengthy charging time...can anyone help with it?

Hello angryfalcon2000,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

Time taken for battery charging upto 100% may vary on various situations like
How much battery charge is left?
What type of battery are you using, 6 cell or 9 cell?
What type of AC adapter ?

If I were you, I would not worry about the time taken for the battery to be charged for 100% unless the battery is not holding charge for a long time.
