Make sure you use the Fn + F2 key to turn wireless/bluetooth On or Off. Use Windows Mobility Center in the control panel to check the status of the wireless connection.
Go to START icon and type in services.msc and select services.
The dialog box that opens has a long list of stuff but look for BLUETOOTH SUPPORT SERVICE. Double click to open. Make sure it is AUTOMATIC. Go to the LOG tab. Choose THIS ACCOUNT and type in LOCAL SERVICE. A list of password (a 15-dot string) would appear. Delete all the password in the PASSWORD and under CONFIRM. Choose Okay.
It will ask you to restart the service. Once restarted, turn on your bluetooth adaptor again. Put your device in pairing mode and add it.
If you cannot delete the passwords try the information below.
Solution: Do all the steps outlined above except after going to the BLUETOOTH SUPPORT SERVICE and double clicking on it then select "Log On" tab. Now tick "Local System account" instead of having "This account" ticked and click "Apply". Then turn off your BlueTooth device if it's on already, restart it and you wait 30-60 seconds and you should now see your BT device listed
