Dlink Router Password Dir 600 Does Not Reset

Hi. If the router will not reset as per the instructions here "To reset the router, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the router powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 5 seconds..." then try and update it's firmware as per the instructions here http://www.support.dlink.com/emulators/dir600/100NA/tools_firmw.html
