Why does my Cuisinart coffee maker not heat up?

You may find that there is no heat coming from the heating plate whatsoever. Why this happens: The heating plate or heating element requires a constant supply of power to function correctly. If the power contacts have somehow gotten disconnected, that could be the reason why the machine isn't brewing any coffee.

Cuisinart is a company that makes kitchen appliances. The most common cause of this problem is the heating element going off as soon as coffee is finished brewing. This can be caused by an issue with the power switch or the thermal fuse.
