Why do I get coffee grounds in my Cuisinart coffee maker?
The reason being the paper seems to drain to slow in the carafe and the brew basket the water level gets to high and it over spills some into the brew basket door hinges and causes a build of grounds there. The door hinge then gets stuck and the door latch will not release properly.
Why is my Cuisinart DCC 3000 leaking?
Leaking is a recurring problem for some customers, caused by a malfunctioning dispenser actuator. Several customers have noted that this might be caused by loose grinds falling into the actuator valve, preventing it from locking into place. Another issue, mentioned previously, is an inaccurate coffee gauge.
