My Cuisinart Model#chw-12 Powers On But Will Not Brew Or Hot Plate Won't Heat.

My CUISINART MODEL#CHW-12 powers on but coffee pot won't brew or hot plate won't get hot. The hot water part on opposite side will heat up and work. Any suggestions before I throw it in the trash?

These are the available parts for you unit. Since the heating element isn't available with no service manual I suggest you replace the coffee maker.
