How To Clean The Burrs

Just happened to be cleaning mine today . . after FAR too long.  The manual seems to suggest you brush out the insides about every two weeks . . but I'm more like every two MONTHS.  And since I use a darker bean, and grind a couple of times a day, the buildup might require a toothpick rather than the brush that might have been included with yours.  To your question, just pull everything apart, and brush/scrape away the coffee residue.  The hopper and the ground coffee chamber are dishwasher safe on the top rack.  After doing the brute force cleaning, I'd run a few ounces of LIGHT roast beans through the grinder.  That seems to scour away the more oily dark roast residue.  Enjoy it . . ours has been grinding beans for six years!
