Toaster Warranty
A new Touch-to-toast toaster was purchsed from Nomorerack. The information on the item indicates a 3 year manufacturer's warranty. When the toaster stopped heating after the first usage, I contacted Cuisinart (and spoke to Jamie in Florida) and was told there was no warranty from Cuisinart as I bought it from a third party. How can Cuisinart not warrant what was clearly warranted in the ad as a manufacturer warrantyfor 3 years?

You need to be careful where you purchase items from small retailers like that. A lot of manufacturers require you to buy the item from a qualified retailer in order to honor the warranty. The reason for this is because they need to know the retailer is trustworthy. For all they know, the retailer could have sold you a broken item that was resealed and sold as new. Unfortunately you're out of luck if they won't honor the warranty. Just be careful where you purchase items in the future.
