Hello, I Have Just Gotten Scamed On An Item That I Had Posted On Craig's List

I was scammed on a 1997 Ford 350 truck.  I was e-mailed regarding the truck.  I was sent a check for $9500.00 and was asked to send $2000 to the person that was suppose to be picking up the truck.  I sent the money through western union.  Then the buyer cancelled the sale and wanted all his money back.  I told him I would not send anymore money until the check cancelled.  I had already lost $2000.00  The name was TerryRather @gmail.  I kept sending me e-mail to send him the money back or he would contact his lawyer.  I would appreciate a response to this and is there anyway I can retrieve my $2000. You can report the scam here. Unfortunately, it's not likely that Craigslist will get your money back.
