False 'scam' Adds Being Posted About My Gallery In Sedona Since June 4th

I manage RC Gorman gallery in Sedona AZ. The previous manager and her violent boyfriend were fired by the owner last Thursday for theft, I did not know them. Somehow this false add has appeared while we need part time help, something the previous manager didn't want while she stole I'm told. There has been no history of forgery or non pay from any of the other 4 RC Gorman galleries. All of the art work is famous, beautiful, authentic lithographs and the Giclees are extremely high end, I'm 57 with an extensive fine art background.Help! What are the options and how can this happen...?Dawn Walker Weeks

1. "...how can this happen..." Scammers have a variety of effective techniques. I doubt that you want to follow suit, so I'll assume that issue is not a real concern.

2. "What are the options." Not many, I'm afraid. You can write Craigslist but don't expect a response. Various feedback and other contact options are provided at http://sfbay.craigslist.org/contact. You might also want to take a look at http://www.craigslist.org/about/scams.
