How To Deal With Harrassment On Cl?
We are trying to sell a car on CL and it has been flagged 6 times. It complies with terms of use, and we believe it is a former owner of this vehicle who lost the car in a nasty divorce. CL says someone can flag "once" but this is way beyond that. We have now had an additional ad flagged, and an ad was placed using a heading similar to our car ad stating "we are crazy, scammers, and not to bother".
I have sent notes to CL almost every time, but have never gotten a response from anyone. What can we do? Can CL block this person from using CL? We need to sell the car ASAP, and can't beleive this is happening.

One person cannot get your post removed. You are being flagged by at least three people (and probably more). It takes at least three or more complaints to Craigslist to get a post removed.
If your post is being removed and you immediately re-post, that is a violation of Craigslist policy. You can only post the same ad once every two days. Constantly re-posting the same ad will just annoy more and more people and result in your ad being flagged and removed much faster.
Remember, you do not have a right to post on Craigslist. Since the ads are free, they can choose to post your ad, delete your ad or ban you from their website completely. If you keep on re-posting a flagged ad, you will be permanently banned from their website.
