Craigslist Personal Ad.

Hi, I recently posted an ad in the personals of Craigslist. i.e Men seeking Women. I have had conformation email, and even 2 replies. However, I cannot see my posting, when I look in Men seeking Women ads. Why is that?

Sorry for your problems. If you can't find your post using the search box at the upper left, your post isn't there. Craigslist states:

Posts may be removed or omitted from index pages and search results by automated systems, CL staff, or community moderation -- for non-compliance with terms of use, site guidelines, and/or community norms.

It's possible of course that you may have violated Craigslist's terms of use; you may want to review them by following the first link above. But Craigslist will impose its penalties simply on account of too many flags--and anybody can flag your post, for any or no reason.

You should be able to solve the issue with the use of a Web proxy, as offered free at http://www.zend2.com/. Fellow Help Owl volunteer smcclurken has additional suggestions here.
