I Posted An Item For Sale Yesterday And It Never Showed Up On Cl

I posted an item for sale yesterday on CL and it never showed up on CL. I tried editing it, etc. and still nothing. Problem is I tried to repost and they say I already posted something "similar"....frustrating!!!!! Can you help?

How do you know "it never showd up"? Please relate step-by-step eaxactly what you did to find it.

I looked under the posting category using every conceivable single or mix of the heading possible. Looked under my posting area and under the entire SF Bay Area.

Here are a few option that may work:

Most ads will appear on the site approximately 15 minutes after publication. Posts that require review by craigslist (e.g., adult and therapeutic services, some job posts) may take longer to appear.
You may need to refresh/reload the page that displays listings for the category where your ad was posted.
Make sure you are looking in the correct category (for example: skilled trade services vs. skilled trade jobs, general for sale vs. general community).
Make sure you are looking under the correct date. Your post will appear under the date when you published the ad.
If you are unable to locate your ad using a keyword search, make sure that the keyword actually appears in the text of the ad.
Other possibilities: your post may have expired, or it may have been removed from the listings by flagging.
