How Do I Find A Lost Email Response To My Ad?

the email was in my inbox. when i clicked on it, it disappeared. its not in junk, delete, sent, any sub-category. it is gone. id hoped craigslist had a history of responses but cannot see any such link. Im not worried about missing a sale, but I dont want people to feel ignored when the are nice enough to respond. Help?

Craigslist cannot supply you with responses to your post. Sorry. Your ISP or email program (or host, if applicable) might be able to help you out.
