Flagged?

Trying to sell our boat. Ads getting flagged amd taken down with no explanation. How do you expect people to post ads appropriately if you don't tell us why they are flagged or taken down? Just trying to sell a boat.

Note that we're an independent help site not connected with Craigslist.You can express your views to Craigslist using https://losangeles.craigslist.org/contact. Craigslist states:

Posts may be removed or omitted from index pages and search results by automated systems, CL staff, or community moderation -- for non-compliance with terms of use, site guidelines, and/or community norms.

It's possible of course that you may have violated Craigslist's terms of use; you may want to review them by following the first link above. But Craigslist will impose its penalties simply on account of too many flags--and anybody can flag your post, for any or no reason.

You should be able to solve the issue with the use of a Web proxy, as offered free at http://www.zend2.com/. Fellow Help Owl volunteer smcclurken has additional suggestions here
