Craigslist Links Open On Yahoo When That Is Not My Browser...

Yahoo is on my computer but not my email server...I thought I deleted yahoo but it keeps asking to be opened...If I were to be able to rid yahoo I couldn't open the CL link anyway...never have been able to open it since I bought my computer...two questions how do I prevent yahoo from being on my computer and what adjustments do I make to open links on CL
