Out Of Date Ads / Listed As New & Not Removed
I don't quite get how this is happening as Craigslist has always seemed to automatically remove my ads. I have noticed some ads on Craigslist for several weeks that Craigslist says are posted "0 minutes ago" everytime I search Craigslist. I have contacted these people & the item is not available, yet other than flagging Craigslist on the item, there is no way to tell Craiglist that an ad is out of date. why are these particular ads running conginuosly as if they are newly posted items? Why doesn't Craiglist has a method for flagging ads that are simply ghosts for items & services completely unavailable? No offense intended, but I believe that this is pointing to a situation where charging a small few to insure that bogus ads would not remain floating on Craigslist would be vastly superior than this poorly-overseen service for free. It would also save Craigslist from becoming what it already seems to be: A sort-of dump ground for things that people don't care if they sell, or don't sell.

I gather that you believe Craigslist is maintaining or accepting posts in conflict with its rules. If that's the case, you can bring your views to Craigslist's attention is with its feedback forum.
