Is A Car Advertised For Sale In Multiple States A Likely Scam?

We found a car we like. The owner sent additional photos and states they moved out of state but will ship anywhere in the US with the shipping charges on them. Once the car is in our possession (per the owner's email to us) we can decide if we want to keep it or return to owner with return shipping on them as well. Are we being duped?

This is a possible scam, because a car can only be at one position at a time, unless it is market strategy to get buyers from other buyer. Get the phone number, picture, contact information and check credibility of the seller before you proceed.
