Where Is My Listing?

i Posted New Listing At 10:36 This Morning. I Listed At Dhn Cars & Trucks By Owner. I Never Did Get Confirmation Email From Craigslist. The Id # Od Posting Is 5690367744. I Received Email Saying It Was Listed But When I Went To Dothan Al Craigslist - Cars & Trucks The Listing Does Not Show Up. The Listing Shows Up In My Account As Active But I Can"t Find When I Searched For It In The Listings. I Have Sold Several Item On C/l So I Can" Figure Out What Is Wrong. What Can I Do To Get Posting Showing Up In Cars & Trucks In Dothan Al?

Sorry for your problems. I know it's especially frustrating when according to your account the listing should be appearing. Craigslist states:

Posts may be removed or omitted from index pages and search results by automated systems, CL staff, or community moderation -- for non-compliance with terms of use, site guidelines, and/or community norms.

It's possible of course that you may have violated Craigslist's terms of use; you may want to review them by following the first link above. But Craigslist will impose its penalties simply on account of too many flags--and anybody can flag your post, for any or no reason.

You should be able to solve the issue with the use of a Web proxy, as offered free at http://www.zend2.com/. Fellow Help Owl volunteer smcclurken has additional suggestions here.
