No Power: Craftsman Pyt9000 Professional 24 Hp, Electric Start, Lawn Tractor

My Craftsman PYT9000 lawn tractor was preped at the end of last season. It would not start, nor show any sign of eletrical life this year. A new battery was purchased and installed, but the mower has no eletrical response. No hour guage, head lights or spark. Is there a fuse that I may not see? If not, is there any insight that might be given that can allow me to make a simple repair before I have to have it picked up for repair?

Hi, according to this forum thread, there is a fuse, located near the battery. However, the parts manual doesn't mention this fuse.
