Does Costco Accept Food Stamps

According to the Costco.com website they only accept the following forms of payment at warehouse stores and online:

Costco.com accepts the following forms of payment:

• American Express (the preferred credit card of Costco.com)
  Apply for the Costco American Express Credit Card.
• Visa
• Master Card
• Discover Card
• Costco Credit Card
• Online Gift Certificates
• Costco Cash Card
• Bill Me Later

However, as of 2009, Costco does accept Food Stamps at most or all locations.

According to other news, in their Seattle, WA warehouse stores (their headquarters are just down I-90 in Issaquah) they accept debit/ATM cards (or have an ATM machine) EBT cards (food stamps) as well.

In 2009 Costco did begin accepting Food Stamps at all stores.

Yes, Costco does accept food stamps but  the name on Costco Member Card must match the name on the food stamp/ebt card.

Costco began accepting food stamps in 2009.

They are accepting food stamps in the form of a visa Card.
