Launch your Web browser and visit the Google Voice setup page. Click "I want a new number."

Enter your area code or zip code in the box on the left side of the window. Click "Search numbers." Select a number that you like to claim it as your Google Voice number.

Enter a four-digit PIN number, re-enter it in the second input field to confirm and click "I accept Google Voice's Terms and Privacy Policy." Click "Continue."

Enter your Comcast digital phone number in the "Phone Number" text box. Select "Home" from the "Phone Type" drop-down list. Click "Continue."

Click "Call me now." Your Comcast phone will ring. Pick up the phone and key in the verification code shown on the screen. The Activation window will update when your code is accepted. Click "Finish." Your Comcast phone number is now set up with Google Voice.
