How Can I Reset My Password On My Mid 9742 Tablet? Forgotten My Password

Greetings - The most sure way is to hard reset the whole system and restore it to Factory Settings/Defaults (it's only that you will loose everything currently on the device and it will be restored to its out-of-box state) - To proceed with the reset -
1. (with the tablet turned off) Press and hold Volume Up and Back button and the Power button all at once for 30 seconds
2. If done right, you should see the big green Andoid robot - if you do, then release all the buttons (if you see the word 'android' instead of the robot, then you need to turn the device off and try again)
3. After seeing the robot, and then releasing the buttons (which should mean you are now on Recovery Mode) - press the Back button and you should be presented with the Recovery Mode menu
4. Use the Volume keys to scroll through the menu and select and wipe out all data and restore Factory Defaults (just diligently follow the on-screen instructions to do this)
