i am not sure if this is the corrrect department but please forward so i can have a good response.      i was a dental student in the u.s. on visa. i am from iran. because of the sanctions and the student visa i was not able to work. the sanctions took all banking abilities from me. no money could be sent. i had about 25000 dollars on credit cards and this was in 1995. so figure the interest now. now, i want to , i have the ability to return to u.s. what should i do in order to not be arrested for my debts. honestly, i was not able to pay then. and am not able to pay now either . i would have to work to pay. and what happens to all this interest. what should i do. please, i want to do the write thing. yours, george hayden     p.s. i am outside u.s. now.
